Lady Gaga thinks her new album will annoy people
Singer Lady Gaga thinks her new album will annoy people. Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, revealed Born This Way will 'p*** people off' even though she says it is her best work so far. The Bad Romance singer told RWD magazine: "The album is my absolute greatest work I've ever done and I'm so excited about it. "Everyone tells me that I'm arrogant but my music's the only thing I've got, so you'll have to let me be confident about one thing." She added: "I suppose that's what you can expect from the album: a lot of hit records that will piss people off." But the 24-year-old said Beyonce is a big fan of the new record. She said: "Beyonc© said: 'Where the f*** do you get these ideas from? "And I was like: 'I don't know Bey, it was just the way I was born'."...

But she was unrepentant at the MTV Video MusicAwards on Sunday night, September 12, repeating the stomach-churning stunt in a dress apparently fashioned from strips of red meat - and with a steak balanced on her head. Animal rights workers have blasted Gaga yet again, urging her to ditch the meat-based clothing before she alienates all her vegetarian fans.
Ingrid Newkirk, president of People for the Ethical Treatment ofAnimals , says, "In that business Lady GaGa has a hard time being 'over the top' and wearing a dress made out cuts of dead cows is offensive enough to bring comment, but someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people upset by butchery than impressed by it, and that means a lot of young people will not be buying her records if she keeps it up."
"On the other hand, maybe it was fake, and she'll talk about that later. If not, what's next: the family cat made into a hat?... This comes at a time when 2,000 people in the U.K. are going vegetarian each week."
But GaGa is adamant her latest eye-catching outfit is not designed to offend, telling U.S. chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, "Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian... And I am not a piece of meat."

Lady Gaga wants cameo in US crime series CSI
Defending the 'Poker Face' hitmaker who is criticized for her outfit, the vegetarian singer says she could not find 'a legitimate reason why anyone would be offended by her wearing meat.'
Vegetarian singer KT Tunstall has leaped to the defense of Lady GaGa for wearing meat-style clothing, insisting it's no different from dressing in leather. The "Poker Face" hitmaker attracted criticism earlier this month when she posed in a bikini made from slabs of beef for the cover of Japan's Hommes.
She followed up by attending the MTV Video MusicAwards Sunday night, September 12 in a dress apparently fashioned from the strips of the red meat - and with a steak balanced on her head. But despite refusing to eat meat herself, Tunstall can't understand why animal rights activists would be offended by Gaga's outfit choice.
The Scottish singer says, "I can't find out for sure if it was real meat or not. I eat fish but I don't eat mammals. As soon as I saw it, I thought, what is the difference between that and leather? Animals die needlessly for leather all the time. I haven't heard a legitimate reason why anyone would be offended by her wearing meat, except for vegans angry about animals being killed, which is fair enough.
Pop sensation Lady Gaga reportedly wants to a cameo in US crime series CSI. It seems that Gaga, 24, real name Stefani Germanotta, wants to follow in the footsteps of 16-year-old Justin Bieber and play a character on Crime Scene Investigation. CSI star Eva La Rue has said that the Bad Romance singer is a fan of the programme and wants to play a part in it. La Rue, who plays Natalia, told E! Online: "The rumours have been that Lady Gaga wants to do the show really bad. "I don't know if we're going to get her or not, but it would be awesome!" Eva added: "She doesn't want to play herself, from what I understand, she wants to be a character.
Lady Gaga gets a new tattoo
Singer Lady Gaga has got a new tattoo of what is likely to be her next album title. The 24-year-old was spotted yesterday at Los Angeles International Airport sporting a tattoo of a unicorn on her left thigh with the words Born This Way. The Alejandro singer announced her new single will be called Born This Way at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards and it looks like her album will be of the same name. Gaga, who has come under fire recently for the controversial dress made of meat she wore to the VMAs, was dressed in another wacky outfit consisting of underwear, fishnet tights and a gold jacket as she walked through the airport.
Lady Gaga has spoken out about her controversial choice of dress made from real meat for the Video Music Awards. The pop star's fleshy ensemble, composed of cuts of raw steak, including matching head piece and shoes, has attracted criticism from animal rights groups. "Someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people upset by butchery than impressed by it," People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said. But the 24-year-old Bad Romance singer has sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to explain her theatrical get-up was not meant to offend. "Well, it's certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. I, as you know, am the most judgment-free human being on the earth," Gaga said. "But for me this evening, if we don't stand up for what we believe in, if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones," the chart-topper said. However, she was vague as to which particular rights she had in mind. Holding up a recent Vogue Japan cover on which she wore a meat bikini, she said, "And I am not a piece of meat!"
